This past weekend Lilium participated in the first annual floral exhibition at the Gardiner Museum in Toronto, Spring Awakening. In keeping with the Greg Payce’s illusion exhibit, we chose the theme “Joy and Illusion of Spring.” Being located in the lobby we wanted our display to greet Museum visitors with a bold statement of spring and to compliment the stunning sculptured pottery of Greg Payce’s exhibit in nearby cabinets! We were honoured to be invited to participate in this exhibition and we thank everyone who came out during the weekend to visit the Museum.

Last week we had an amazing photographer, Scarlet O’Neill, come to Lilium to shoot new photos for the relaunch of our website! Our website should be up and running by early May! Here’s a sneak peek of what’s to come…

At Lilium we like to do “Spring” in a big way – with a profusion of blooms, colour themes and an organic look that would work anywhere!! Some weeks it’s been a blaze of yellow daffodils to brighten the dreariest of days, and during Valentine’s week it was romantic red tulips that greeted visitors to our shop!

Recently we rented out the planter for an elegant, sit down dinner a client was hosting. We filled the Lilium planter with beautiful primulas, mini tulips, Kalanchoe, ferns and English ivy. The result was stunning and created a real conversation piece during the party! This planter would be wonderful for a banquet table setting or a country wedding – filled you favourite plants – to be a one of a kind floral décor.
